  • An excellent point. I am sure your clients won't be sitting idle when you are working on their websites. Some of their actions might get the site in trouble (just hypothetical, but did it happen with you any time?)

    I didn't know you guys optimize for MSN and Yahoo as well.

    Hello Jeet,

    We have had a few clients that will sabotage all their on site optimization by removing important keywords completely from their pages, then expect to rank well for the keywords/phrases that they had deleted. But for the most part everything has gone really well!

    We have developed a highly trained team of Internet Marketers that can handle almost anything that a client (or) client's competitors can throw at us.

    Oh, and we have always felt that Yahoo and Msn were very important so we would never leave them out! In fact traffic coming from Msn seems to convert better than all of the other search engines including Google at times.
  • I think honesty and research if the best way to find a good seo expert. They should research how competitive the field is first before guaranteeing any high ranking.
  • Good article, very true as well. I am non stop receiving SEO companies emails with great claims of making me more popular than Google, but they haven't seemed to have done much with their own website. Trying to do what I can on my own at the minute, but fingers crossed, in the future it may be viable to take some professional advice.

  • You are so right about so-called SEO gurus not knowing what they are doing. Some have seriously over-inflated egos. I have recently had dealings with a well known, alleged guru who was incorrectly and misleadingly insistent that a site penalty was down to one very specific cause. His mis-diagnosis led to lots of wasted time - and we still had to pay his bill.

    Well when someone promises you #1 in google in a week or something you can be sure that they're not going to satisfy your needs. Professionals will never give you a concrete effects they can achieve because it's impossible to calculate beforehand.
